Reasons Why John Mayer and Nick Cannon are having the Time of Their Lives!

Last Night Nick Cannon and John Mayer attended the MGM Grand Opening in Ledyard, CT without any arm candy, but that does not stop these two guys from having the best summer yet. The reason why we know they are having the best summer is because reason number one. Nick Cannon got hitched to mega super star Mariah Carey, and even though we know he’s her do boy you have to give him credit because he bagged on of the hottest woman in the music business. John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston also had a little tryst in Miami which went public. This is the first time we’ve seen Jennifer snuggling and kissing another guy since the Vince Vaughn thing ended in 2005.

Reason number two why these guys are having the best summer, is because their stars are likely to rise. Yes they have dated famous women before but none more famous than Mariah Carey and Jennifer Aniston. Nick Cannon previously dated Kim Kardashian, Christina Milian and Victoria’s Secret Angel Seleta Ebanks. Mayer has been linked to Jessica Simpson, etc.

Reason number three, they are likely to get more press coverage, John is used to press coverage, but hooking up with our beloved Jennifer who can’t seem to find a man will make him a legend. Nick Cannon could not pay a million dollars to get the stalkerazzi to follow him around with a camera, will likely have them following him around, so they can have the money shot with him and his Wifey Mariah Carey.

The Cinema Society and Michael Kors Host a Screening of “Iron Man”

This iron Man Movie has been premiered in London, Rome, Los Angeles, Mexico City and New york City, there is so much hype around it. We really hope this movie lives up to all the hype it has been receiving. Speaking of Which the casts main babe, (Gwyneth Paltrow) looks really hot.

We thought the action hero thing was kind of played out but this one seems to catch our eye, the actors involved makes us want to see this film. Robert Downey Jr,Terrence Howard and Jeff Bridges.

 

 

 

 

 
         

 

Robert Downey Jr. Promotes His Iron Man Film In Mexico City

Does Robert Downey Jr. thinks he is Justin Timberlake rocking that suit and sneaker look? A lot of people has tried that but it has not been that cool until Justin brought sexy back. Robert does not look shabby in this trend as he is trying to embrace the modern side. Robert is indeed modern and we know all about that too. The once troubled actor seems to have calm down and their seems to be stability in his life and we are trilled for that, because we know he is a very talented actor.

Downey Jr. was in Mexico City to promote his new film, the “Iron Man”. The Iron Man is an upcoming 2008 superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist who is captured by terrorists in Afghanistan. Ordered to build a missile, Stark uses his resources instead to build a suit of power armor and make his escape. Returning to America, Stark improves his armor and becomes the technologically advanced superhero Iron Man. Gwyneth Paltrow plays his secretary and love interest Virginia Potts, Terrence Howard plays jet pilot James Rhodes, and Jeff Bridges plays the villainous Obadiah Stane / Iron Monger.

Jay Z does Not Wed and Tell!

There is a famous quote saying that you should not kiss and tell, but Jay Z and his new Bride Beyonce are taking that term to new extremes, they just don’t Wed and Tell. Jay Z and Beyonce who reportedly got married on April 4th have yet to confirm that they are indeed newly weds. Jay Z has been on tour with Mary J Blige who congratulated the happy couple but did not say what she was congratulating them for.

We appreciate that these two are keeping the love between them, it is nobody’s business wheter they are married are not. The stars want to show the world that they are true musicians and they don’t don’t depend on each other for superstardom. Music should always be the primary focus that was the reason we liked them in the first place and not because they were dating.

Common Tours Australia

Common took his tour all the way to Melbourne Australia, looks like common has some big fans down under, if you take a look at the photo pictures above, common serenades a fan onstage. The poetic rapper seems to be really in the performance. Common style of hip hop is something anyone can relate to. Common does not rap about clothes and cars and jewellery, and that’s why we think he is a true musician.

Common also stretched his acting muscles as well, and has appeared in movies  Smokin Aces, and American Gangsta.

Ll Cool J launches his Todd Smith Clothing line at Macy’s Department store in Culver City in California. clothing line seems to be a hard thing to launch but when you are a celebrity your line gets instant advertising. Celebrity clothing lines comes and goes, only a few have been able to stay a float, Sean Comb’s label “Sean John, and Kimora Lee’s “Baby Phat are two of the most successful Clothing line started by Celebrities.

The clothing being featured by LL Cool J’s “Todd Smith” competes directly with new urban staples Ed Hardy, Sean John and True Religion. We strongly believe that if LL wants to start a line he should makes cloths that are different than what we see out there, because all the lines are starting to look the same.

Is kanye West a Hip Hop Revolutionary?

Kanye West and his fiance attend the Cavalli Party In Paris, during the Fall/Winter 2008-2009. Kanye attended all the shows in Paris checking out all the latest looks for fall in the city of lights. This guy obviously loves clothes, and his outfits are usually very well coordinated. This is the same guy that made wearing a purple scarf manly in hip hop, or even wearing a pink shirt.

Ever since Kanye West burst on the rap scene the game has been changed forever. His lyrical skills his dress, has been emulated by many. He his more of a poetic rapper, the best since Eminem, or even Common. Kanye Style is something to be reckoned with, rappers have been changing their style, the baggy clothing is going away and they are adopting a more clean cut look. Many will argue that one person cannot change hip hop, because hip hop is diverse and revolutionary but we think that Kanye West help to inspire the new dress code that many stars have adopted. Rappers, such as Nelly, T.I, Jay Z, have traded in baggy jeans and T shirts at Award Shows for more classic look in well made suits. 

Despite his really large ego, the reason why we like Kanye is because their is a lot of substance in his music, its not about the clothes, and the cars for him, he sings about real issues that people are facing, its like you can listen to his music and learn from it. You listen to his song, “Diamonds from Sierra Leone”, kanye used his video to get a very important message across that many people especially young children, to mine the diamonds we glorify.

Keep on sending powerful messages Kanye, the world needs more people like you, and Hip Hop needs more people like you.

Prince Harry Returns From Tour Of Duty In Afghanistan!

After various new agencies broke news that the red haired royal Prince Harry was serving in Afghanistan. The British Military as chosen to withdraw the Prince Harry from the front lines. Harry seems to be a determined soldier he was supposed to serve in Iraq, but because of safety issues he was not allowed to serve. He is third in line for the British Throne, after his older brother Prince William, and his father the Prince of Wales, (Prince Charles).

Harry follows in the footsteps of his grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip who also served in World War II, and his Uncle Prince Andrew who was active in the Military  in the Falkland Islands dispute. Royals are not usually common soldiers even though it is customary for them to receive military training. They have a more ceremonial role, so we can only imagine the pressure that Prince Harry must be going through from his family to not return to combat.

Prince After Oscar Fete Hosted by Citizens of Humanity

Musician Prince had one of the hottest Oscar After parties for the 2008 Academy Awards. This year was all about the glitz and glam. This is a show which almost did not happen because of the writers strike in Hollywood which sent many prime time shows and movies into hiatus. The Oscars this year was an elegant event with the writes strike over its time for all of Hollywood to come out an play. Notabley missing from the party scene is the Vanity Fair party which is always a hot spot after the Awards Show. This year Prince’s Party is the new Vanity Fair party. The Oscars according to ratings were a dud but I have to give credit to John Stewart because he had a lot of funny momentsduring the ceremony.

Sean “Diddy” combs who is promoting his role in the ABC movie, “A Raisin in the Sun”, also made an appearance with his costar the lovely Sanaa Lathan. Javier Bardem and Tilda Swinton who were among the four foreigners who picked up acting award honors were also at Prince’s Party. Speaking of Tilda Swinton she must be on cloud nine for winning the Best Supporting Actress Award and Javier Bardem for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the movie, “No country for old men”.

Democrats Beware Ralph Nader is Back

Ralph nader is viewed by many as the man who took away voted from Democratic Presidential Nominee Al Gore during the 2000 Election. Today Nader announced that he would be running for President again. Nader has been long known as a consumer advocate, we know he won’t win the election so my question to him is: Why are you running for President of the United States? Nader and his Green Party things he should win because he gets thing done.

Nader’s announcements drew criticisim from the two current Democratic rivals who are contesting for the nomination. Illinois Senator barack Obama said, “He thought that there was no difference between Al Gore and George Bush and, eight years later, I think people realize that Ralph did not know what he was talking about,”. New York Senator Hillary Clinton said,”I remember when he ran before. It didn’t turn out very well for anybody — especially our country.”

We know we live in a country were you are free to persuit your dreams, and I know Ralph Nader will not back down. The Democrats needs to unite and stop slandering each other in the media. They don’t realize they are tearing their party apart. Ralph Nader might just benefit from the wedge the candidates are drawing in the democratic party.

The New York Giants is going for a NFL ring, but the New England Patriots are going for a record, so whats your take on this years super bowl, Tom Brady as been deemed Mr Perfect by most, because his team went through the regular season without losing a single game. But can really really write off Eli Manning and the New York Giants. The Game is on FOX Tommorrow starting at 6:30 pm eastern standard time.

Novak Djokovic Is The Australian Open Champion

Novak Djokovic can add Grand Slam title to his resume. Djokovic was the youngest player since Stefan Edberg defeated Mats Wilander in 1985 to win the Australian title and the first man from Serbia to win a major. Djokovic defeated French up comer Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (2).

Both Djokovic and Tsonga has had an incredible run in the Australian Open. Djokovic defeated Roger Federer who seems unstopable and Tsonga defested Spanish Tennis Star Rafael Nadal. Before this win Nadal and federer seemed to form an alliance in tennis for the last couple of years which Djokovic broke.

 Djokovic who was born in Belgrade in Serbia, in the former Yugoslavia had his revenge this year for sure, last year at the Australian Open he reached the fourth round in which he lost all four sets to Roger Federer who went on the win the championship.
